Cat litter is an absorbent material used to bury cat excrement, usually used in conjunction with a litter box. Based on physical properties, it can be divided into clumping and non-clumping types. Based on raw materials, it can be divided into organic cat litter (wood chips, paper scraps, etc.) and inorganic cat litter (bentonite, zeolite, etc.). Some products add antibacterial agents and deodorizers to improve performance.

Based on usage characteristics, cat litter can be divided into two main categories:

Clumping cat litter: The main component is bentonite. After absorbing urine or feces, it clumps together and can be easily cleaned with a litter scoop.

Non-clumping cat litter does not clump when it comes into contact with urine. It can be scooped out after the cat defecates. It needs to be replaced completely after each use.

Based on chemical properties and raw materials, it can be divided into:

Organic cat litter: Wood chip cat litter, paper scrap cat litter, bamboo litter, grass litter, grain litter, cereal litter;

Inorganic cat litter: Bentonite cat litter, crystal cat litter, zeolite cat litter.
